When a call is made to your Net-Telco number the call is routed to our London Data Centre. You decide what happens to that call from there.
Announcements are made to your caller before call routing takes place. Below are some examples of how this useful feature can be used:
- Let your caller know they have reached the destination they are looking for.
- Providing regulatory information (eg: financial services requirements).
- Let the caller know you might record the call.
Playing an announcement to your caller adds a professional touch.
You can record your announcements yourself or we can arrange for the professional voice over artist we work with to record your announcements for you.

We can forward calls to almost any land line or mobile phone anywhere in the world.

The call charges show how much it costs to forward a Net-Telco number.
Prices shown are in pence per minute. We charge by the second.

If you have your own soft switch (such as Asterisk) or take a service from another VoIP provider we can forward the calls using the SIP protocol. We support 2 channels (concurrent calls) per account on our SIP forwarding service. If you require more channels please see our SIP trunking product.
SIP Forwarding is not available with most free numbers. You can upgrade your free number through the Net-Telco Portal
Our Call Whisper service plays a short message to you before the call is connected. Although you have answered the call the caller continues to hear the ringing tone.
This is a great way to identify what the call is about and how to best answer it.

Call Redirect on Busy / No Answer
As an example you could have your calls diverted to a colleague if you are on the phone and to your mobile if you don’t answer within a given number of seconds (set by you). Alternatively you can use this feature in conjunction with our Voicemail feature.
Call Redirect is not available with free numbers. You can upgrade your free number through the Net-Telco Portal
You can forward your number to Voicemail. Any messages left are recorded and then forwarded to you as an email attachment that you can play on your computer, tablet or smart phone.
You would need to use the Announcement service in conjunction with this service to let the caller know to leave a message.
If you are wanting to implement Voicemail on busy / no answer you will need to purchase a second number and configure it for Voicemail. You can then use the Divert on Busy / No Answer setting for your main number to forward to your Voicemail number. Alternatively you might also look at our Advanced Voice Mail Offering.
You can even set your land line (using the forward feature available on the Openreach network) to forward to your Voicemail number, that way you get your messages via email rather than having to call 1571.

Fax to Email (Fax2Email)
Receive faxes the easy way without it costing you a penny. You receive faxes straight to your email inbox. You save you money on paper, line rental and cost of equipment.

Fax2Email is available with paid for numbers and free 084 and 087 numbers. You can upgrade your free number through the Net-Telco Portal
We can provide you with a Free VoIP (Voice over IP) account. You simply program your VoIP phone or software with the details we provide and you can answer calls made to your Net-Telco number over the internet, what’s more you can also make free and low cost cost calls through your VoIP account.
We support 2 channels (one incoming and one outgoing concurrent calls) per account on our free VoIP account. If you require more channels please see our Additional Features and Services section.
